Dr. Ognyan Palaveev 

Chairman of the Managing Board and Executive Director

Dr. Ognyan Palaveev was born on 22.05.1949 in Sofia. He graduated from university in Germany. For 36 years he has been working in the field of economy and trading.
In 2007 he defended a doctorate thesis and was bestowed the scientific degree of Doctor of Pharmacy.

Chairman of the Association of Bulgarian Pharmaceutical Manufacturers (ABPM), member of the Board of Directors of Sopharma AD and of the Board of Directors of Rostbalkanpharm Russia, Chairman of the Koprivshtitsa Community Board, member of the Board of the Japanese –Bulgarian Hasumi International Research Foundation – Bulgaria.

 

Fluent in German and Russian.

 

Married with two children.

Dimitar Chipanov, Eng.  Deputy Technical Director

 

 

Dimitar Chipanov was born on 8.11.1953 in the city of Bourgas. He graduated from the German Language High School in his home town, the Technical University in Sofia and a two-year post graduation qualification in Economics.

For 30 years he has been working mainly in manufacturing enterprises.

He has been Deputy Director of Unipharm AD for 11 years.

Aneta Istilyanova, M.Ph.Sc.  Manager of Liquid Dosage Forms Unit

Aneta Istilyanova, M.Ph.Sc. was born 02.02.1951. She graduated from Vocational High School "G.Izmirlievin the town of Gorna Oryahovitsa and  higher pharmaceutical education in the Pharmaceutical Faculty of the Medical AcademySofia – 1975.
Her work experience was gathered mainly at Unipharm AD. Since 1987 she is also Manager of the Liquid Dosage Forms Unit, more particularlyproduction of concentrates for haemodialysis.
Initiator and active participant in scientific research and implementation teams of new formulations of concentrates for haemodialysis.


Married with two children: a sonmicrobiologist and a daughter veterinary doctor.

 

 

 

  

Bladimir Iliev, M.Ph.Sc.  

 Deputy Production Director

Vladimir Lyubomirov Iliev, M.Ph.Sc.  
Higher education - pharmacy. Hereditary pharmacist third generation. Completes his higher education in 1986 and immediately begins work at Unipharm as a technologist. His entire work experience is dedicated to the company, passing from the position of Shift Manager, Tablet Workshop Manager, and Production Manager. Since 2002 his position is Production and Administrative Deputy Director.
Member of the Board of Directors of Unipharm AD since the establishment of the latter.

 

  

  

Atanas Malinov  

Chief Accountant

Atanas Mitkov Malinov was born on 16.12.1949

Higher education Economics

He has been working in the area of economics for 30 years, the last two at Unipharm AD

 

 

In 2006 the company marked 25-year-manufacture of concentrates for haemodialysis and was granted an ISO 9001:2000 certificate.

Regarding the harmonization of the medicinal products with the European standards in 2008 the company was granted an  

ISO 13485:2003 certificate and a CE marking on Concentrates for haemodialysis.

Unipharm AD participate in the following associations and organizations:

·         Member of the Managing Board of the Association of Bulgarian Pharmaceutical Manufacturers (ABPM) and through it is a member of the European Generic Medicines Association with Head Office in Brussels

·         Member of the Bulgarian-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry

·         Member of the Confederation of Employers and Industrialists in Bulgaria (CEIBG).

Employees:

As of 31.12.2007 a total of 269 people work at Unipharm, 90 of them are with higher education, while the rest are with special high education. 29% of the university graduates are M.Ph.Sc, 24% are chemists, 12% are engineers and 7% - economists.
